No, an ISTQB certification obtained in v3 remains valid: ISTQB certifications do not expire and are not retroactively invalidated by a new version of the syllabus. However, the transition to v4.0 introduces new concepts (testing approaches, agility, product quality) that we recommend updating via additional training or the Advanced Level.

MadaSTQB is the Malagasy national board, member of ISTQB International. The certifications issued are therefore fully recognized internationally according to the same standards and levels (Foundation, Advanced). The choice depends mainly on your place of residence/employment and the examination modalities available locally.

No: AI is an accelerator (scenario generation, test data, anomaly detection) but does not replace the critical judgment, business understanding and creative exploration that an experienced tester brings. The future of the business is in AI complementarity + human expertise, not substitution.

QA (Quality Assurance) aims to prevent defects, while QC (Quality Control) consists of detecting them through testing activities.

Verification consists of ensuring that the product is built correctly, in accordance with the specifications ("are things done right?"). Validation consists of ensuring that the right product has been built, in line with the real needs of the users ("are we doing the right thing?"). The two activities are complementary throughout the development cycle.

The Test Maturity Model Integration (TMMI) model evaluates the maturity of an organization's testing practices on a 5-level scale, from the most basic (uncontrolled processes) to the most advanced (continuous optimization). Our consultants use this framework to diagnose your current practices and build a realistic improvement roadmap.

ISTQB certifies the individual skills of the testers. TMAP (Test Management Approach) is a methodology for structuring and managing test activities at the project level. TPI (Test Process Improvement) is a model for evaluating and improving the test process, complementary to TMAP.
